Terroir: 

La Gineste N°6 grows on matured vines, which are cultivated by hand throughout the year.

The Terroir is the second terrace of the Cahors. This is rich in white and grey limestone and Clay. 

Vinification / Ageing:

After the first fermentation in vats, in which the temperature does not rise above 28°C, for a soft extraction of the tannins. After the fermentation the wine matures in French oak barrels of the 1^st to 3^rd cycle for 12 months. 

Composition: 

La Gineste N°6 consists of 100% Malbec grapes.

Taste: 

Deep ruby colour with black tints, intense and complex aromatic expression on the nose, combining small black fruits, blackberry, plum and cherries, with subtle oaky notes, mocha, a hint of toasted vanilla. Smooth tannins on the palate, combining body, finesse and length.
