Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.
Packaging units
Unless otherwise stated, all bottles contain 0.75 litres. Most wine boxes contain 6 bottles.
Prices
All prices are ex warehouse (gross) bottle unit prices. Prices include VAT (in the corporate customer sector: (net) unit prices plus VAT), which will be shown separately on the invoice. The prices at the time of your order apply. All previous prices are therefore invalid. You can find out the period of validity of our limited offers where they are shown in the shop. Despite careful stocking, it can happen that a special offer item is sold out sooner than expected. We therefore give no delivery guarantee. The following applies: Only while stocks last.
Conclusion of contract and storage of the contract text
The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding online catalogue. Sale and shipping by Chateau Gineste SCEA. You can add goods to your virtual shopping cart by clicking on the "Order" or "Add to cart" buttons. Before placing your order, you will be given the opportunity on a displayed website to identify and correct any input errors before submitting your contractual declaration. Please check your order carefully.
By clicking the "Buy" button, you are making a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract for the goods contained in the shopping basket. You have the option of saving or printing your order after you have placed it. The confirmation of receipt of the order follows immediately after the order has been sent and does not constitute acceptance of the contract. We shall declare our acceptance of the contract to you expressly or by delivering the goods or by requesting payment - whichever occurs first - by the end of the fourth working day following the order. If we already offer you the option to pay for the order in concrete terms beforehand, this shall be deemed to be our binding offer to conclude a purchase contract with the selectable means of payment to you, which you can accept by making the payment, whereby the contract shall come into existence through your payment.
We save the text of the contract and send you the order data and our GTC by e-mail. You can also view the GTC here at any time. For security reasons, your order data is no longer accessible via the Internet. A contract can be concluded in German or English.
If we determine after conclusion of the contract that we are permanently unable to deliver ordered goods for reasons for which we are not responsible (e.g. due to force majeure, non-delivery despite timely reordering), we may withdraw from the contract.
In this case we will inform you immediately and refund any payments already made.
Youth Protection Act
In accordance with the Youth Protection Act, we only supply alcoholic beverages to persons over the age of 18. Our packaging is marked with a conspicuous coloured sticker indicating that no delivery is made to persons under 18 years of age. Furthermore, in the event of the slightest doubt, the delivery staff are obliged to have the identity and the age of majority confirmed by showing the identity card and to hand over the goods only to persons of full age.
Online dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS platform), which you can find under this link. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board. The General Consumer Arbitration Board (from 01.01.2020: the Universal Arbitration Board) of the Zentrum für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, www.verbraucher-schlichter.de is responsible.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has or has taken possession of the last goods.

by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to revoke this contract.
You may use the model cancellation form for this purpose, which is, however, not mandatory.
To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of the cancellation
If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the inexpensive standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We reserve the right to withhold the repayment until we have received proof of the return.
For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment. You pack the unopened goods ready for dispatch with suitable packaging material. It is best to use the cardboard packaging supplied by us for this purpose. You bear the costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if the loss in value is due to your handling the goods in a way that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functionality of the goods.
END OF THE CANCELLATION POLICY
Delivery date
The delivery time depends on the shipping destination. We guarantee to dispatch the goods within 5 working days from our chateau in France.
Payment
We accept payment by invoice, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal and direct debit. If you pay by invoice, this will be enclosed with the delivery. For online orders, invoices will be sent by e-mail. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are payable without deductions within 20 days of delivery and receipt of invoice. In the case of different delivery addresses, depending on the amount of the purchase, in the case of open invoices and depending on creditworthiness, we reserve the right to refuse individual types of payment. If you pay by direct debit, we will cancel the payment.

If you have a PayPal account, log in with your user data and follow the PayPal instructions. After successful payment, you will be redirected back to our website to complete the order process.
All prices include the statutory value added tax. The prices at the time of the order apply. The delivered goods remain our property until full payment has been made.
