Terroir: 

La Gineste N°9 grows on matured vines, which are cultivated by hand throughout the year.
The Terroir is the second terrace of the Cahors. This is rich in white and grey limestone and Clay.

Vinification / Ageing:

The wine is vinified in vats, in which the Temperature does not rise above 28°C for a soft extraction of the tannins. The wine is then transferred into another vat until the bottling in the next spring.

Composition: 

85% Malbec and 15% Merlot

Taste: 

La Gineste N°9 has the distinct flavour of the grapes it is sourced from. It has an intense fruitiness and due to the Merlot, it gets an enjoyable softness which one feels in the finish
